If you want a mac for bootcamp, then just buy windows. If you want the mac because it is easy, then get it. If you don't have money, don't get it. If you don't need one, don't get it. If you want to run paralels, and you have enough money, and a windows install disc anyway, get one...

As you can see, depends on what you want to use it for.

Yes it is a great Operating System and if you need windows programs you can run windows in bootcamp.

Or Parallels to run Windows inside OSX

VMware also has a very nice program that is the same price as parallels that lets you run Windows inside your OSX and it lets you move files back and forth
