I need a dvd decoder Monday, June 11, 2007 at 04:32:36 PM

Where can I download one online for free?

I just installed a game that works on another computer

answered by: wogglymaster

no. The game is on a CD, but has DVD files on it that need to be read. I don't know if i've said this before or not, but my computer was reset awhile back from the evil, wretched, nasty, wicked Windows ME to the wonderful XP. The ME version used to be able to read DVD files and watch movies, but it hasn't since then. I think something went wrong in the process. I've learned that the problem is a DVD Decoder is missing. I have an application that watches DVDs (as I've said), but thats the only thing that does read them.

Would reinstalling Windows Media Player do anything?

I forgot to mention I'm not allowed to shop online, my parents don't want me 'getting attacked by hackers and losers like that'. It's stupid, I know, but that's how it is.

answered by: wogglymaster

Another solution is using Yahoo! GeoCities (geocities.yahoo.com) and then porting that to another server for free. I know some free servers include Dot.tk (gives a URL ending in .tk), freeweb.com, webhost.com (I think), I know there are some others that I'm not thinking of that are good too.

I'm sorry if my answer doesn't make much sense. I'm not very good at describing things.

Should I use windows ME? Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at 04:52:47 PM

Its going kinda slow and crashes a lot!!

answered by: wogglymaster

I had ME before. It was shit. Never buy it. It crashed too much, viruses were aboud, most of my old games didn't work on it, and some of the newer ones didn't work on it either. I guess it's ok to use if your not doing anything important, but for hi-tech, or even everyday use, don't buy it.

Hi there.

I'm playing Madden 2007 and have having a big problem with the kicking. I've used one

answered by: wogglymaster

Madden 07 changed the controls than previous years. I know I had trouble adjusting to them. I don't know about the computer version (I use PS2), but the kicking takes a while to get used to.

I've used the double-click type thing in baseball games for pitching before, this is definately different than those, so don't worry about whether it's just you or not.
